Meet Body Well Coach Rebecca
Tell us a little bit about you?
I am a mama to two girls and have lived in Madison since 2017 and I am SO very happy to call this home. I love to travel and go on new adventures, especially if it involves a yummy meal and cocktail. Food is my love language lol. I've not always been 'into' fitness. I was pretty much allergic to exercise in high school, but I came to appreciate it in my early 20s when I started pushing myself out of my comfort zone (running & triathlons) to raise money for charity events. In addition to being a Body Well Coach, I am also a certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Fitness Nutrition Specialist.
When was your first Body Well session?
My first session was in 2016 with FIT4MOM in Northern Virginia. I had been doing their stroller classes for a while but I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and I needed the accountability to do so.
What is your favorite component of Body Well?
Do I have to choose just one?! I honestly think my favorite is getting to know the mamas. Many of these moms I know from seeing them in class or at Moms Night Out but it's always a group setting. So being able to really dive into those deep 1:1 conversations that occur during our session and text conversations is a gift. I love getting to understand their why and being able to give personalized support and care to help them towards the positive change that they desire.
What can mamas expect from you as their Body Well coach?
You can expect me to be supportive but a tough cookie ;) Whether that's coaching you through a kick a$$ workout or me keeping you accountable to the goals you set. I've got your back!
